Privacy Policy
Hypratia is a local-first macOS application operated by Bakerization. This policy explains what Hypratia does and does not collect.
1. Local-first data
Hypratia stores conversations, canvas data, Markdown files, project files, and settings on your device. Hypratia does not run a hosted database for your private workspace content.
2. No telemetry by default
Hypratia does not collect product analytics, content analytics, or usage telemetry by default. We do not receive your canvas content, Markdown files, imported transcripts, or local vault contents.
3. AI provider requests
When you configure an AI provider, Hypratia sends the prompts and context you choose to that provider. Those requests are governed by the provider's own terms and privacy policy. API keys are stored locally on your device.
4. Optional network features
- Update checks may contact GitHub Releases.
- Public share links, if used, upload the selected shared snapshot.
- Support payments, if used, are processed by Stripe.
5. Support payments
If you support Hypratia through the website, payment processing is handled by Stripe. Bakerization may receive payment metadata such as payment status, amount, currency, and email address. Support payments do not unlock additional app features.
